Banco Ficohsa strategically decides for FLink Integration Platform

Successful market entry: FRAMETEXX aquires first customer in Central America. Banco Ficohsa selects FLink Integration Platform to build and to monitor interfaces between TEMENOS T24™ and the bank’s system environment.

Tegucigalpa, Honduras / Hamburg, Germany, March 2010 – FRAMETEXX GmbH, the provider of IT-Solutions in the T24™ environment, announced that Banco Ficohsa has decided for FLink Integration Platform. Headquartered in Honduras, the bank is going to build and to monitor interfaces with FLink relating to the outstanding TEMENOS T24™ implementation.

Founded in 1994 as a commercial banking institution, the focus of the bank’s business are corporate operations. Today, Banco Ficohsa is one of the leaders in this business line. With 96 branches across 14 cities nationwide, the bank competes with local and worldwide banking institutions and is one of the leaders in the financial market in Honduras.

‘The decision for FLink has been made very fast. During our investigation for products to support our TEMENOS T24™ implementation, we did not find another software that is as sophisticated within this environment as FLink.’ Jeffrey Bryan Castro, IT Manager at Banco Ficohsa, announced.

Convinced by the flexibility and high-value functionality of FLink in a live presentation of a demo interface, Banco Ficohsa perceived the numerous advantages of using the software. The demo interface has been provided as a pre-sales service and proof of concept to the bank.

Jeffrey Bryan Castro adds: ‘Our project team has been amazed to see how easily FRAMETEXX builds a demo interface with a true-to-life transaction example, based on our data. We have been really glad to see how flexible it is to develop new interfaces and even to monitor them with FLink.’

FLink Integration Platform has then successfully been installed in Banco Ficohsa’s system in January 2010. FRAMETEXX even provided a training on the job for the project team of the bank in Honduras.
