DataBridge Direct supports near real-time streaming

The DataBridgeDirect provides instantaneous data processing techniques such as Data Streaming, that is capable of delivering data extractions from a Temenos T24™ data source into a relational format in near real-time.
With this process, users get real-time information on customer, accounts, transactions, etc. in the DataBridge’s landing zone. This data can be queried directly by Standard SQL Tools or be delivered to post processing systems (BI / DWH), to help them make faster and better decisions.

Challenges in Data Streaming
Operations should happen in milliseconds or seconds. So one of the most crucial challenges that define the entire process is speed, followed by being able to detect the data that needs to be transferred.
The DataBridgeDirect allows you to strip down single T24 tables and fields for the streaming process. Parallel processing options allow planning scalability on multiple servers if necessary.
Changes on the data source are detected by using standard database functionalities, to avoid or minimize any effects on the source system. There is no need to develop individual triggers or programs which might impact performance and increase maintenance.

Process Configuration
Change data tracking needs to be enabled on specific tables on database level. The extraction process can easily be configured on a Workflow within FLink Designer and deployed to a FLink Service runtime environment. By configuring the schedule of the Workflow, the user can influence the beat on how often the DataBridge is looking for changed data. This can range from immediately to seconds, minutes or hours.
